It bears no portents.<br \/>\nMolecule by molecule it tumbles<br \/>\nthrough space, much like the rest of us, a dense<br \/>\ncloud, a dense cloud, a dense cloud of<br \/>\nmatter whispering itself the quiet<br \/>\nevocations of its own being!  Or!<\/p>\n<p>Maybe not.<\/p>\n<p>It is brown.  It stares at us silently,<br \/>\nwhile we sit there in our car watching it.<br \/>\nIt is the brown of dead leaves, wet from rain<br \/>\nin late December, of mud, of the wood<br \/>\nof the empty building near our cabin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amen I say to you: the fox which lives in the abandoned building near our cabin means nothing at all.
